Graduation of a Cohort from the Parental Professional Qualification Program in Dubai
The Community Development Authority, in collaboration with Knowledge Fund Establishment, celebrated the graduation of the second cohort of the Parental Professional Qualification Program at Dubai Schools – Al Khawaneej. The program forms part of the Wesal for Positive Parenting Initiative, launched in conjunction with the UAE’s Year of the Family, and reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen family stability and equip parents with the skills and knowledge needed to foster supportive and cohesive family environments.
The graduation ceremony was attended by H.E. Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director General of the Community Development Authority in Dubai, and H.E. Abdulla Mohammed Al Awar, Chief Executive Officer of the Knowledge Fund Establishment.
The program graduated 19 participants who successfully completed the training requirements. The curriculum focused on enhancing communication between parents and children, promoting positive parenting practices, and empowering families to address children’s behavioral and psychological challenges through modern approaches that support family stability and improve quality of life within the community.
Dr. Hala Ibrahim Al Ablam, Head of Family Programs at the Community Development Authority, emphasized that the program provides specialized workshops and training sessions for parents. Through practical resources, strategies, and community-based support tools, the initiative aims to enhance parenting awareness and enable families to address everyday challenges using positive and sustainable approaches that contribute to overall family well-being.
This initiative reflects the commitment of both organizations to supporting families, promoting positive parenting practices, and building stronger, more resilient communities across Dubai.
